Having visited Amsterdam several times before and using hotels that range from two to five star rated, we wanted to experience staying in an apartment. We chose the Canal Apartment as it was central to most attractions and has really easy links to public transport. The apartment itself is very large, extremely clean and to be honest home from home.... More

The Canal Apartment is very centrally located and convenient to transport, the museums, good restaurants and just about anything else you could want in Amsterdam. Almost everything is in walking distance which made for a very pleasant holiday. I would definitely recommend the Neighborhood City Guide (found on the apartment website) which Bas has put together. This gives you a... More

Booked here for 7 nights but ended up staying 8. Would have stayed 10 nights but it was booked unfortunately. That tells you something about how much I liked it here. I emailed Bas the owner my arrival time and sure enough when the taxi pulled up outside he was there to shake my hand and show me around the... More

We (myself, partner and 12 year old daughter) stayed for 5 nights at Raamgracht 2 Apartment. It's terrific. The location is perfect, we walked (and rode bikes) everywhere, including to and from central station with our bags. You are right in the heart of things but, however, it is very quiet at night. The bells from the lcoal church are... More

We stayed in the Raamgracht 2 apartment in June 2011. We were absolutely delighted with our choice. The location is fantastic, close to everything. We were able to buy supplies for a local supermarket and have our breakfast at the apartment each morning. We made use of the washing machine/dryer - very handy after travelling for 4 weeks. The apartment... More

Two nights in Raamgacht 1, studio apartment with separate kitchen. The website is completely accurate on all counts. As to the bells they come from the HUGE church that is behind the building and did not start until 10:00 having stopped at 22:00 the previous evening. It is a wonderfully peaceful setting overlooking the quiet street and canal, yet only... More

I can't believe I didn't write this sooner. We stayed in the Korenblomen~ and it was perfect for two. Spotless, comfortable, a perfect location (just a few blocks outside the Red Light district but on a delightful, quiet canal street). Worth every penny. Enjoy Amsterdam without the busy confusion of a hotel.

Everything about our stay in the Amber apartment was perfect. The street below with the large windows opening onto the canal was memorable. The loft bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was newly updated and very clean. We really enjoyed having the kitchen in the apartment so we could prepare some meals. Everything here was perfect for us and... More
