A friend and I stayed in the guesthouse which is actually a houseboat about 2Km from downtown Maastricht. House boat has three downstairs rooms and one big suite upstairs. Why is this a bad hotel? Well, like another traveller remarked it is a wannabee hotel, with a so called Ralp Lauren Room (with bunkbed!) and Yves St Laurent. But apart from that it is an expensive hotel, price-quality wise. Let's do the maths, we paid 89 Euro for a room without toilet and breakfast. To start! Oeps, you pay... More

Despite the wannabe room's decoration, there isn't much to save in this hotel. Location is not bad but quite empty during the night. Note also that it is hard to find. The name is only put on a small whiteboard. Showers and toilets are far from perfect and are outside the room which is unacceptable when you pay 99 euro/night.... More
