The hotel is situated in the centre of Groningen, on 10 minutes walking distance of the Groningen museum and Martini tower. Yet it is in a calm corner, so no disturbing street noises at night. Room is comfortable.

While not a luxurious hotel it is very well appointed. I appreciated the free wi-fi which even more expensive hotels don't offer. Its centrally located but in a quiet area. The Hampshire in the city is a convenient place to stay in with the amount of restaurants accessible everywhere. The beds were soft and comfortable to sleep in and even though we were there on Queen's Day, the blaring music from the main town did not cause any disturbance to us even though we could hear a bit of sound....
