Stayed here for 1 night on a solo mountain bike weekend trip. Room pretty small but acceptible, a good spread at breakfast, great location right in the centre of town. Ultimately, a family run place like this relies on it's staff and personal touch and they do a great job.

We enjoyed our stay at the International. We had a spacious end of the hall room that was large by European standards. Loved the sitting areas near the bar, on the outside patio and near the pool. We couldn't have asked for a more excellent and romantic room overlooking the lake - a corner room with French doors and a tiny balcony - although we paid well for that privilege. My wife and I spent 3 nights here - well located on the lake and Via Nassa - older hotel but well-maintained - front desk very helpful, especially Luigia - pricey but in line with all Swiss prices - if we ever get back to this lovely spot we'll stay here again.
