I stayed at the Solaria traveling on business, choosing it because of the price versus other hotels, traveling to Davos for a conference. In the summer season, this place is a great value. We paid $45 for an apartment with a balcony, two twin beds, a bathroom and a kitchen. The front desk staff are english speaking and very helpful. Stayed at the Solaria from Dec 25th to 31st while attending the Spengler Cup hockey tournament. The Solaria is located about 500 meters from the main road in Davos, called Promenade.
