We have just returned from a 3 day break in Geneva (my husband wanted to go to the motor show...that's another story!!) We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Savoy which I had found to be the most reasonably priced hotel in Geneva. It is about 7 mins on the train from Geneva Airport. You can pick up a free... This hotel is located in a perfect location. Just across the street from the Geneva Covarin train station. Flower clock, Jet d' Eau, Patek Phillipe Museum are in a walkable distance. The room is clean but very tiny. I guess it's only 60 sq.feet. The bathroom is incredibly small. I could not imagine how a big guy would be able... More

Pros: - Central location, across the street from the train station and bus/tram stops - Refrigerator in the room Cons: - Plain interior - Possibly the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. (When you're sitting on the toilet, you're touching the wall with one elbow, touching the shower enclosure with the other, and, if you lean forward, you can touch the... More

I liked the service in the hotel (the staff is friendly and helpful, speaks good English), but the hotel is quite old. The carpet was completely worn off. Although the rooms were relatively clean, the bathroom sink was cracked (not a pleasant experience). I and my friend had difficult time fitting into the elevator (also, it is quite slow, so... More

I was looking for a hotel to sleep for one night. The price for this hotel was OK. However the bedroom was very small and had a bad smell. The bathroom was very old and small. The bathroom sink was so close to the toilet that it was difficult to use the toilet. I am a small person a bigger... More

A nice and cozy hotel. Though the hotel is not very big, it takes care of all your needs. Me, my wife and kid stayed in Geneva for one night last week. Upon reaching the hotel, we were happy to see that all small things are take care off. The staff is very helpful and generous. The hotel is conveniently... More

I am a frequent work traveller and spent 2 nights here for a meeting in Geneva. The location was great and the price didn't break the bank, which for Geneva is value for money. However, the bathroom was so small that when you sit on the toilet your knees are touching the sink and the shower cubicle is so small... More

Geneva is always tricky for hotels- they are expensive and usually disappointing. Savoy comes out just ahead of the bunch, as it is clean and functional, well located and unpretentious. However it's still not cheap and the rooms are on the small side (the bathrooms minuscule) and it all feels a bit cramped. On the plus side it's quiet (get... More

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Genève on a tight budget. As you probably already figured out prices are relatively high here in comparison to the rest of Europe. Savoy is a great option with good value for the money, you will get: * Excellent location, with all the buses and trams just outside the... More

Stayed here for a night during the Geneva Motor Show and was affordable at £148. Pros: 1. Locational convenience: Very close to the train station, bus stop and a short walk from the Lake. 2. Room was clean(as are most rooms in Swiss hotels!) with a comfortable bed and clean towels. 3. Cafe de Paris is right around the corner.... More
