- Montana Hotel Geneva

I was booked into this hotel by WCC for an overnight stay.
The reception was good , the room clean and roomy and a good selection at breakfast, only complaint no tea in the morning but it is Switzerland not Scotland!!
The furniture in the room was a bit worn but the bed and pillows were excellent.

I was forced to make some late changes to a vacation plan which suddenly left me at the Geneva train station, quite tired and all I wanted to do was crash in the closest hotel bed. I had no time to conduct any research so I picked this hotel simply by its exterior.

My room was full of bed bugs - evidence was undisputable! Hotel management was very casual in their response. HIgh risk that entire hotel is or could be infected. Awful awful experience. Room was also very dirty!

Pros - near lakeside, short walks to old town, Botanical gardens, handy for tram. Breakfast reasonable (terrible coffee). Cons - shabby, no aircon, dated bathroom and decor.
