“Very Nice Boutique Hotel”

Great location, a stones throw from the river and an easy walk into town. The room was a little small but not that it caused a problem, very well fitted out with all the mod cons. Rooms can be a little warm so make sure the a/c works properly.

The room was very small but still comfortable and stylish furnished. It was perfectly clean and the bathroom was also great (especially the shower). “Great small, family-run hotel”

Great personal service with new contemporary rooms. Good location and the free tram tickets are very useful. Free wifi. Absolutely no downside. The staff has good knowledge and advice for Basel. The manager, Julian, is very responsive.

“Great weekend in Basel”

We chose Hotel D for a family weekend in Basel. It is centrally located, close to public transportation with great shopping and restaurants in the nearby area. It's a boutique hotel nicely designed with young and helpful staff where breakfast is just perfect! Highly recommanded!

Hotel D. is centrally located in the ancient part of Basel, with all major places of interest at walking distance. This beautiful boutique hotel has thought of everything. Perfect use of space in the nicely designed rooms. Wonderful breakfast, and Helpful front desk service. Took a peak into their gym&sauna, which look great. Perfectly located, walking distance from main attractions, and free public transport passes brings up this excellence to the top! Hotel D scores 10 out of 10. Very convenient location in the city center, spacious parking facility around the corner. Nice, comfortable and clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Excellent price/quality ratio.
