We stayed at this lovely small hotel in November. Vincenzo, the owner, was very warm and welcoming. He speaks a little English and I speak very little Italian, but we communicated just fine none the less! He helped us unload our luggage and then rode with us to the parking lot a couple of minutes away. Assisi is not easy... More

We were not driving, but traveling by train, so we had no concerns with parking. We arrived to a warm greeting, after which we were informed that we had a choice between a two room suite or the honeymoon suite with the arch over the bed. We chose the latter, and it was impressively comfortable. We were then brought complimentary... More

My college-aged son and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while on a 10 day road trip. The owner Vincenzo, his wife, and their darling little dachshund Carlotta, couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. We had a nice room with twin beds and a lovely large bath with an enclosed shower. Breakfast was large and plentiful in... More

Lovely, small hotel, like a bed and breakfast full of the spirit of Assisi. The location is right in the middle of town. We booked the largest of the rooms, ample space, authentic architecture and quaint surroundings. The bed was comfortable. The owner, Vincenzo, was the kindest human being we encountered on our Italian travels. He gave us two great... More

The hotel was small but the owner was friendly and welcoming even though he doesn't speak English and sometimes was hard to communicat. The only thing I didn't like is that on the last day we were ready to checkout and the owner was calling our room like 3 times. Is 3 minutes after 9 am a big deal? Everything... More

We only stayed here for 1 night, but we had a lovely room with lots of space, a lounge and a confortable bed. The only drawback was that our bathroom had just a shower hose and no shower cubicle, so that the whole bathroom got wet when we showered. Restuarant reccomendation was spot on, as were directions to find the... More

In all our travels, we have never experienced such a good stay like Hotel Lieto Sioggornio. The owner, Mr Vincenzo, is a very warm, humble and kind man who serves from the heart. The place is centrally located, making it very convenient for families with young kids to walk around to see the various sights, churches & beautiful Basilica of... More

Arriving in Assisi is one of the most peaceful things you can do, and then you are greeted by the warm and humble Vincenzo up the ancient stone stairs of Lieto Soggiorno. Each room in the hotel is unique, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast is bountiful, the location supremely central and the sleep peaceful. I would warmly recommend Lieto Soggiorno. More

My family of four had the pleasure of staying in this quaint boutique hotel in the heart of old Assisi. With the permission of the owners, we were able to drive through the pedestrian only streets to park at the front of the hotel and drop off our suitcases. Parking for our car was about 400m away at the top... More

We stayed in the hotel with our friends and their teenage son, who is a violinist and had to practise every day. We were not sure if it would be ok with the owners. Vinzenzo and Grazia were thrilled! Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. We stayed in the suite, with the amazing stone arch and murals, which... More
