We enjoyed our 5 nights at the Villa Scacciapensieri. The room was very comfortable, and the hotel grounds great for relaxing and enjoying the scenery and weather. It was also fairly easy to get into the old town of Siena. The staff were helpful as far as providing information, and the breakfasts quite good.

I remember booking this hotel because of the long list of kings and queens who stayed there. During hot summer days, the royalty sougt higher grounds for view and breeze. Any place with history behind it astonishes me. It is one of the most tranquil and serene places I have ever been to.
