As a seasoned traveller to italy I normally book hotels having read reviews from various websites. The hotel Casolare lived up to it's great reputation.A wonderful setting with a first class service provided by the staff. Lovely room and grounds and food to match. I would certainly recommed it and would definately stay there again.

Wonderful location, in a very big park with swimming pool, kicker table, tennis table and many other ways to relax. A very pretty hotel, great for families with kids, sun beds, swimming pool, table tennis and plnry of grass to run around. Ideal for relaxation and winding down from city life... Beautiful rooms and good breakfast, although the same one everyday :-)

In one word: Casolare is simply magnificent! Good food, clean and spacious rooms, great location but the best of all: the pool and surrounding garden or better said: surrounding park ;-) The park at the back of the hotel is gigantic and superb to relax with a drink in the sun. We stayed 4 nights. Location is good to explore Tuscany and staff is excellent as service in hotel. We enjoyed it.

We chose this hotel because of good location. We are pleased with the selection and will return again. Dinner was delicious, nice selection of wines. Staff friendly with knowledge of English.

We stayed four nights in late April 2012. The weather conspired to make this a beautiful time. The hotel is about10 mins drive outside San Gimignano, it is set in its on small park, this would be an excellent area for children, in the grounds are numerous shady seating areas proving lovely tranquil place to ponder, sunbathe or hat. Fantastic Toscana rural experience! Wake up with the bird’s song and the country perfume. Perfect location, 3 Km from San Gimignano, a fantastic and well preserve historic town. Very elegant rural decoration. The outside swimming pool very pleasant. Very good breakfast. Staff very professional and friendly.
