This was our first visit to Italy and we used Pisa as a base to visit several of the Tuscan cities. The 5 Roses is less than 15 minutes walk from the train station so this made it ideal for our tour as we did not want to drive in Italy. We made day trips to Florence, Siena and Lucca... More

We have stayed in excellent B&Bs in our recent trip to Italy, so much so that it is not easy to rate one of them as the best. But after careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion this is the best place we have stayed. Our room was spacious, cozy and spotlessly clean, breakfast was good and Sra Flavia... More

This is a nice little B&B and my friend and I were very impressed by Five Roses. The owner Fabia went out of her way in terms of service. She picked us up and dropped us at the train station free of charge, carried my suitcase up the stairs (the B&B is located on the mezzanine floor of a apartment... More

I checked in for 1 night on 3 September 2011. Tired from a long flight and another connecting flight to Pisa from the US, I was glad to find a clean, charming and comfortable place to relax and rest. The location is a 10 minute or so walk from the train station. I took a Taxi , as the airport... More

This B&B is well placed for the railway station (about a 10 minute walk), and although a bit away from the main sights, these are still only c20 mins walk away. We received a really lovely, friendly welcome and Flavia (the owner) could not have been more helpful. Our room was beautifully clean and the bathroom seemed to have been... More

This must be one of the nicest bed & breakfasts in Pisa. It is within a ten minute walk from the main railway station and is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location. It is also within easy walking distance of the very interesting medieval town centre where there are beautiful shops and several typical Tuscan restaurants. Access to... More

Stayed at this B&B 9/10/11. Overall great location convenient to train station and walkable to main attractions. Flavis greeted us and made sure we were settled into the red rose room. Although small rooms are typical in Italy, the accommodations were adequate in size. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and the shower was spacious. Beds are hard (not unusualy in... More

5 Roses is a lovely place to stay. Flavia aims to meet everyone's needs. I travelled with my parents in their 7th decade, Flavia carried their bags up the flight of stairs before I could turn around. Mum and Dad where impressed. Our room was both clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the kettle and fridge in our room. We were... More

The Five Roses B&B is great choise if you like good service. Flavia is perfect host and takes care of your evey need. The permises are in excellent condition; the rooms are spotlessly clean, interior decoration is traditional italian, every appliance like aircon and hairdryier are new and in good shape. The minibar is reasonably priced. And the best it... More

Five Roses B&B is very nice place to stay in Pisa. Rooms are very nicely decorated and homely. Breakfast was reasonable and plenty. Do not forget to try Flavia's homemade cakes. Central train station is only 10 min. walking distance and Leaning Tower is around 25-30 min. away. We want to thank Flavia once again for her hospitality and all... More
