We found it difficult to find a hotel in the low season (winter) in lucca, as we hadn't booked ahead. Albergo Diana has a great location close to the train station, friendly staff and affordable, clean rooms. it's a basic hotel, but at 40 euros a night very good value for money.

This was a good budget hotel. The rooms are clean and it's in a great location. The room lacked charm, but the bathroom was nice and big. Breakfast isn't included, but there are plenty of cafe bars in the vicinity. I would return.
