My wife and I stayed at the Residence I colli for 3 nights in May 2013 and after reading a wide range of reviews prior to arriving were not entirely sure what to expect, However, pretty much most of what we had read was true. We were allocated a "beautiful apartment with terrace". This was located behind the main villa... More

Residence I Colli was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Italy. The villa is beautiful and offers a real Tuscan experience. A very friendly and attentive staff helped book museums, make restaurant reservations, etc. The location is great too and within walking distance of several shops, restaurants and attractions.

My husband and I first stayed at Residence i Colli in June 2011, and I returned there in late October 2012 with my two daughters. We couldn't have been more pleased. It is a lovely villa, and very convenient for walking or getting a bus to the city center. The apartments are elegantly furnished, and very comfortable. It rained during... More

Whatever you do, don't stay here! No one is ever there to answer your questions. Don't expect your room to be serviced, ever. Our shower was clogged and we couldn't request service because no one picked up the phone or allowed us to leave messages. Free wifi never worked. Refrigerator didn't work. Dirty linens and musty smelling bed, etc. we... More

Dear Sir or Madame, I'm sorry to say it but it's totally untrue that no one is here to answer our clients questions. We are a Residence (not an hotel), our reception is open from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30pm to 6 pm, we are always happy to give our clients touristic information and suggestions or to... More

Felt like a mini apartment, a nice change from the hotels we've been staying during the trip. Nice unit with a kitchen and dining area. No kettle in the kitchen, asked the receptionist and she said that kettles are not common in Italy. Receptionist was friendly and also gave us a map of the city. There is a bus stop... More

We stayed at I colli in 2008 on the recomendation of our friend who was a travel agent. We booked our stay for 8 nights and the price was so reasonable we were not expecting much. We arrived to the beautiful villa and were greeted by the owner Carlo whose family has always owned the villa,in fact he was born... More

We were on a tour of Italy and after 8 nights of staying in hotel rooms this made a pleasant change. It was only a 9 Euro taxi fare from station and we were given a ground floor apartment and were wowed by the parquet flooring and high ceilings (thankful not to have to pull our heavy luggage up all... Stayed here using Airmiles. Very spacious apartment with lounge and kitchen all to a good standard. Nice quiet location away from tourist hoardes but only 10 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio. Staff very helpful and friendly and hotel seems very secure. Rooms are not serviced so towels will have to last duration of stay unless you ask for new ones.

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was disapointing. First of all, the 10 minutes walk to the city center (ponte vechio / piaza duomo) turned out to be 30. The cottage was nice but a little too dirty for our taste (hair on the shower, etc). The towels and bed lining were very clean, but the floor, dishes, kitchen,... More

Overall, we had a good experience at the I Colli. The complex is made of a main villa and a number of ground floor, cottage-style, apartments in separate buildings. Initially, we were given a cottage apartment, and we were dissatisfied with it: it was dark and very humid, with tired-looking furniture and a moldy smell. We expressed our disappointment, and...
