We stayed at Giada Hotel in Florence for 2 nights (September 19–21, 2011). It's centrally-located, within easy walking distance of pretty much everything (the train station, Santa Maria Novella, San Lorenzo & Medici Chapel directly across the street, Il Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, & Piazzale Michelangelo). We had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel because the name on...

Stayed five nights at this little hotel right beside the San Lorenzo cathedral, and I would go there again on my next visit to Firenze. The staff was helpful and nice, breakfast ok and the location very central and near several great restaurants.
A couple of the mornings were quite noisy but for an early bird like me that was...

We found this hotel to be situated in a good location. Close to the railway station. The market is right outside the door. Great for shopping! The hotel itself was a bit of a dissapointment for us though. Our room was small, dark and gloomy. We had a twin room which only had one window which could not open and...

This is a small hotel which is extremely well placed - it is right opposite San Lorenzo and within walking distance of most of the major sights - including those south of the river. The rooms are basic but comfortable and we found the staff helpful and friendly.
Had a wonderful stay here. Good breakfast every morning, desk help were super helpful, room was clean, location was ideal. Many good small botique restaurants in neighborhood, close to the main food market, walking distance to train station, duomo, arno river.
I have stayed 4 days in the hotel on November, 2010, everything is good and over my expectation , I believe the major reason is my bedroom is facing courtyard therefore is very quite. The size of the room is very roomy. They have free internet service on the top floor. There have a very good resturant with good value...

The location was great. Giada Hotel is located near SMN train station, across from the Medici Chapel, and a short walk to the Duomo, Accademia, Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, etc. There is a market right outside the door, several restaurants, and a laundromat, internet/phone, and grocery store nearby. Beyond the location, however, I can't recommend much about this hotel. The staff...

For the price we paid for the room at least the breakfast was decent!
While European hotel bathrooms are smaller than what I'm used to in Australia, this one was absolutely tiny!
The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and our airconditioning unit only worked properly in the middle of the night... But, to be frank, the room was incredibly cheap and...

Not only was the location difficult to find; none of the staff spoke much English. Additionally as mentioned in previous reviews, the bald man (not sure of his name) was very, very rude and "eyed" my wife on multiple occasions. Our phone never worked during our 3 night stay. They originally attempted to set us up in a 10' x...
