This friendly hotel is run by an old couple. They call themselves a B&B but the place is much larger than it sounds and well worth the price. The rooms are spacious and well-kept and the bed was comfortable. The location is really key as it is just a couple blocks away from the Duomo. It is also only a... More

We arrived, exhausted from the flight and train ride from Rome. Chiara (one of the owners) was there to greet us (in excellent English) and Simone brought our luggage up the stone staircase to our first floor room. They recommended a nearby restaurant, Sasso di Dante, for lunch and the buffalo mozzarella was perhaps the best food we ate in... More

We stayed here for two nights in November 2012 and found two things about it that make it outstanding. The wonderful welcome of the couple who own it and the proximity to the heart of Florence. We were helped by email long before we arrived in Florence - museum reservations were booked for us and we were given lots of... More

A great location, with a view of the duomo from the window. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was really clean and and lovely space which to return to at the end of a busy days sightseeing. Would definetly stay again!

Great little hotel in superb location (actual view of the duomo out our window). Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff that really made us feel welcome and well decorated (albeit small) room. Would thoroughly recommend.

Relais was the perfect place to stay in busy, hot Florence. They accommodated our late arrival seamlessly. You can imagine our relief when we opened our door to a blast of cool, air-conditioning. The location is ideal for you are a matter of blocks away from spots like Academia, the Marker, and you have a partial view of the Duomo.... More

Worst ever bed & breakfast experience Horrible toilet room in the corridor, could not sleep, and very expensive for what it is...not polite people on the front desk... run away!! They did not follow the cancellation police, so as said before, worst ever bed & breakfast experience...

We weren't expecting much, but we were delightfully surprised by this hotel! The hosts were friendly, the room was surprisingly spacious, and the location was excellent! Just a block to the Duomo and convenient to the Mercato Centrale, but the street it's on is quiet. Thanks for a great stay in Florence!

Just to add a voice in favour of this excellent place. Hard to find the nameplate when you arrive, easy to lock your scarf in the street door as you close it on departure!! So much character, such friendly staff, such good rooms, ideal location. In Florence [Firenze = Fear - en -zay] you need no dining room, etc, you... More

This is a simple, clean, no fuss hotel, steps away from the Duomo. You can open the window and see the side of the Dome. Close to good food, and great places to visit, like the market, museums and piazzas. Staff is friendly and can recommed good & cheap places to eat around town. They allow you to leave your... More
