We recently stayed at Hotel Berna while on our honeymoon in Italy. We were a little worried about the 2 star designation but we were trying to stay under budget so we could spend more on the fun stuff while on vacation. We were not disappointed. The rooms were large and clean. The bathroom was clean but a little strange... More

kind letters77 we are very happy that our hotel has welcomed you in a moment as important as the honeymoon. We are delighted with the compliments .... the lost luggage! .... for us it was a real pleasure to help you find him and the same for the laundry that did not cause us any problems . We hope to... Lets tick the standard tourist boxes first. Close to the train station (2min walk), large clean rooms albeit cluttered with tiny showers and a great continental buffet breakfast BUT the real plus with this place is their friendly & helpful staff (Emanuela, Francesca, Erika & Geta). My wife and I are in the early stages of a 2month Europe/UK holiday... More

The Ritz it is not, but this would have to be one of the best value hotels around. The location is 2 minutes walk from the station, yet quiet. All of Florence's attractions are a short walk away. Including the markets (barter hard here for leather bargains). The staff are very friendly and make you feel most welcome. Nothing is... More

The hotel is on the 3rd floor (european - for our American friends, it is on the 4th flood) and has 9 rooms. It's clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is very close to the train station and there are plenty of restaurants near by. It is also very... More

I don't know what I liked most between the hotel, the staff or the city. My wife and me stayed there in may 2012 and it was really nice. The hotel is in the 4th level of a traditional building .There is an elevator that can be used for your luggage and maybe 1 or 2 people (good enough). Then... More

Me senti iludida pelos excelentes comentários do booking. More

I traveled with my husband and in-laws, and we all thought this was a great stay for the money. We chose it for it's easy proximity to the train station and price. After Rome, our next stop was in Florence, Italy. I was impressed by the great location of this hotel. It was highly accessible from the train station so it won't be a problem for you and your huge luggage. Plus, you have a great view from the room's balcony. We were greeted warmly by one of the hotel's receptionist Francesca!... More

My wife and I had a very small window to visit Florence as we were traveling from Paris to Civitavecchia for a connection with a cruise. Fortunately, we had booked our stay at the Hotel Berna. We were looking for a place to stay close to the train station, by chance came across this location.
