Owner was very helpful in regard to restaurants, buses. House is old but well-renovated with distinctively-designed rooms. Sits quietly above noise of downtown Florence. Gathering room for guests on top floor provided a convenient and scenic place to snack and sip wine. We appreciated the air conditioning a very hot September.

A wonderful place to stay. This old Villa has everything. Stay in old fashioned style. The owners cannot do enough to help you. Room even had anti-mossie plugs. Use the bus to get to San Marco square and walk your socks off around Florence from there.
