We stayed here for a week in the summer and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found that we were placed in a safari style tent with bunkbeds and a single bed. We had been expecting to camp for the price we paid so this was luxury! It was fairly easy to find once we worked out how to... More

Stayed here for a few days a summer ago whilst travelling through Italy. Campsite is a ten minute bus ride from the station area, walking down into Florence is fine , but i wouldnt walk up as it is quite a steep hill and would be hard work with bags etc. Always seemed to be a bit of a queue... I was prepared for a campsite. I wasn't expecting too much. I knew we would be sharing a caravan with others. I knew it would be a common kitchen. I knew it was located outside of Florence, and I was even aware that a bus would have to be used to get into the city. What I was unprepared for... More

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at plus camping florence. After the wonderful AC and the trailers in Rome, the lack of AC and only having the platform tents was a bit of a shocker. However, we immediately met a group of good looking American girls and it was like being back in Rome...but more rustic. I have been... More

This campsite is amazing. Breath-taking views, quiet yet friendly atmosphere, easily accessible by bus. We stayed in early April and had a great time, but wished we could stay longer. A couple of things: it was cold for our stay, and the blankets provided are very thin. Be sure to pack a warm sleeping bag/long underwear. Additionally, buy your return... More

I have to say, I didn't expect too much from this campground. But it turned out to be a wonderful place to stay! The views are amazing-- you are right near the Piazzale Michelangelo, on a hill across the river from Florence. There is an outdoor deck where you can sit to eat breakfast, have a drink from the on-site... More

The location of this camping ground is stunning. Right next to piazzale michaelangelo and surrounded by olive trees. The house tent was hot but that was to be expected (being the middle of summer). The cafe had lots of seating, power points and cheap drinks. You had to pay for Internet but that also cheap. In the arvo it had... More

We are a 30year old couple with a 6 month old baby visiting in a motorhome for just one day and night. I was originally concerned about getting the campervan up the hill to the site after reading it was on a "steep incline" but it was no problem whatsoever! The views are absolutely amazing! We were there in October... More

It saddens me that my experience of this lovely city was spoilt by this campsite. Not only was the price double any other campsite I have stayed at in Italy, but the pitch was terrible (it was one half of the area set out for the communal tap), and the service dismissive. On arrival we were shown to our pitch... More

The good: superb view over Florence, shop with necessities, friendly atmosphere, nice people from all over the world, spacious house tents, nice surroundings, close to the center The bad: a bit expensive for a camping, they needed to hold one document (ID) through all the time I stayed
