Good location, good breakfast and clean room but staff at check-in counter were rude and arrogant!

We had a fairly large room with our own terrace. Room was clean but the bed was hard as a rock. Did not know the trick to flushing the toilet was to press the button not once but 5 times rapidly. The room was not very clean. There was always some unpleasant smell in the lobby and the corridor.

Great little hotel, and handily placed for the treasures of central Florence. Within easy walking distance of the Duomo, Uffizi gallery, San Lorenzo, Accademia, and the railway station. Been there 4 times. Always found the staff friendly and helpful. Rooms and shower-rooms clean. Great base for exploring Florence.
