The main plus is that it is very close to the train station and to where most of the tours meet. The hotel is old... and seems to be a prime business hotel. There were several conferences there while we stayed there. Our room was basic.... and roomy. However, the 2 windows in our room... while they opened... we could... More

We should have known we were in for a great experience when our fellow train passenger saw the hotel reservation and kissed the paperwork! We arrived at the train station from Munich and were pleased with the short walk- but more so we were thrilled when we got to our rooms and realized that we couldn't hear any of the... More

The location of the hotel is great, within easy walking distance of all attractions and very close to the train station The Hotel was old charm. It had everything we require The breakfast was ample and set us up nicely for the day. The view from the Hotel was amazing. We were very happy with our choice of Hotel. Concierge... More

This hotel is very well located within walking distance of pretty much everything in Florence. The staff are helpful, the breakfast buffet includes eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, and carbs, as well as made to order coffees. The view from the restaurant where you have breakfast is beautiful. I was first given a quiet room (450's) which was dungeon-like. It had... More

We stayed 8 nights in the Baglioni in Florence. The amenities & facilities were luxurious, including the spacious room, modern bathroom facilities, and free internet service. The main attraction was the full hot breakfast on the roof top with a view of the Duomo every morning. Also, it's hard to beat the location - across the street from the train... More

My partner and I spent a super 3 summer nights at the hotel. The only negative thing I can say is that the card key gave us troubles a few times. For the good amount of comfort and service we had, we were easily able to overlook that. Good Wi-Fi, good location, good sleep quality and lovely ambience for a... More

We stayed at the Baglioni on a city break. It is elegant with lovely open, public spaces, you might expect me to say faded elegance but thats not the case. Our room was traditional and overlooked the piazza, it was a great location for getting around to the major sights. If travelling by rail it could not be closer to... More

Stayed here for one night during a roadshow. Amazing building in simply the best location. Central to do all our sales calls and also to walk around the city in the evening. Right in the hub of everything. Rooms were on the small side, but average for Europe, well appointed with everything that we needed. The door lock was a... More

My wife and I stayed two nights with our four not-small children. The feel was of a real "palazzo" in these incredible rooms which are huge and beautiful. Everything was spotless and the staff were very friendly and professional in manner. The only slight failings we noticed were perhaps an overcrowded dining room for breakfast and a less than attentive... More

ok, the good things first. The service was great, the doorman a perfect gentleman, the hotel full of character, tasteful decor, immaculate bathroom, all the services and perks you expect from a four star hotel. The location is less than 5 mins from the Duomo and SMN station is basically opposite for those arriving to Florence by Train or airport... More
