Not for the faint-hearted...1 point for large room and clean linen every day...one point for location, very close to all sights..walking distance to major attractions. Very busy road, no double glazing, so not for the light sleeper! My husband is not a light sleeper, so he gives a rating of 3!
No one description can bring out the true disgustingness (new word!) of this place. I did check trip adviser before we booked. We needed a hotel that could accommodate a family in one room and I was assured by the October review by the lady who stayed with her son and his friend. That reassured me it should be at...

Traveling with 23 year old son & his friend, I was elated to be shown a triple that was comprised of 2 rooms, one for me and one for them! Huge bathroom, clean and great location, close to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. The staff was so considerate and helpful and provided affordable first class restaurants for dinner. Good WiFi in...

Ritz was advertised as a 4 star hotel which we booked as a Mystery 4 Star Accommodation. We were disappointed in the level of accommodation - very old and basic. Location was great. Staff were very good. Breakfast was basic but enough for a good feed.
Hotel Ritz Firenze is a well run hotel in a great location. The desk staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Everyone spoke english very well and the owner was very attentive to our needs. We got a triple room and it was the beat room we got in Italy. The bathroom was huge! There was a master suite and another...

Found Hotel Ritz online and paid less that US$200 for one night, breakfast included. Handy location next to the Arno River and 5mins walk from Piazza Santa...

Although the rooms are reasonably big. There is only one list and its very small. The breakast is terrible. We were a family of 4 and we booked two seperate rooms and the other bathroom in the second room was terribly small. It does not feel and look like a 4 star hotel at all. I would not recommend this...

Hotwire sold it to us as a 4 star, actually charged us more that the walk in rate, Sigh!! Good location, but terrible bathrooms, nowhere to place your clothes, dirty and old. Buyer beware, this is the second time we got burned by Hotwire, never again I say..
