Just left hotel Raffaello yesterday....... and not a moment too soon. Insulting would be a good single word to describe the place......... and I can also see how many people would think the place is OK............ mostly because they are vacationing and just don't want to think negatively, and just move on to better moments immediately (and because they may... Bus service right outside the hotel makes it easy to get to all the sights in Florence. The front desk staff was friendly. We stayed here 2 nights with Trafalgar tours. Spacious and clean room.

This hotel was decent for the price we paid. Florence is an expensive city. The room was clean, though it did not have AC as advertised. Luckily, you could open the windows (and there wasn't much street noise) and it was mid-May when we stayed, so it wasn't too warm in the evening. The hotel did have free wi-fi and... More

We stayed at this hotel as this was booked via Carranni tour, when we did the group tour. Place was clean and we had buffett breakfast of cold pastries. The garden gives you a place to relax and you cant hear the noise from the street. Dinner was quite unappetising, pasta was bad considering you are in Italy! Wifi is... More

I stayed at this hotel in November 2010 and was slightly worried after reading some of the reviews. I found the hotel to be ideal. It was far enough of the centre to be quiet but close enough to get in and out easily, There is a good bus service from just outside the hotel which gets you into the... More

We were stuck in Florence for 3 nights (planned was 1) due to heavy snow in December. The situation in the city was quite chaotic, it hadn't snowed this much here for decades - so we were told. The airport was closed, and we had to rebook and add two additional nights. This is not a special hotel, built in... More

We were with a large tour group and the hotel had many groups. Tiny elevator and was glad I was only on the third floor because I had to take the stairs. Too far from the center city to walk; we paid 11eu for a taxi. Hotel is clean but old Bath tub was very deep but made it difficult... More

Recently stayed at the Hotel Raffaello in Florence, Italy as a part of a tour package through Carrani. As I entered the property for the two nights that I was booked, there was complete chaos since this particular hotel specializes in tourists that are a part of a package deal. My room was on the third floor and you can... More

Nice hotel, with (most of the time) griendly service and help Just do not understand why the big differences in prices: without reservation we payed 120 € per night for a double room, while on the internet, apparently you can book at 70 €
