We had a very enjoyable stay. The accommodations were great, the breakfast offered was plentiful. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is great,close to most of Florence's many attractions. We woul recommend Hotel Pendini to anyone heading to Florence.

For the price and the location, I don't know why this hotel isn't rated higher .. The front desk people are superb ! helped me get some work done and helped my friend find a cooking class. Good bathrooms and room size..overlooking piazza with merry go round. Very close to most museums and major attractions and shopping. Very small elevator. Staff helpful to arrange tours or help in directions. Very good breakfast.

Stayed at the Hotel Pendini in Florence last month. We had a massive room and to our delight the windows faced directly onto the Piazza della Repubblica. Great to look out and people watch and a great location with good restaurants all around and an easy walk to all the main sites. Just a 10min walk to the train station.... More

You need to have your expectations set properly to enjoy many European hotels. There are no brand standards and often the furnishings are a little "tired". We loved the Pendini. Our room had these massive windows that opened onto the Piazza della Republica. Staff was courteous and helpful. Short walks to everything in Florence you want to see.

Pensione Pendini is in the heart of Florence. Only three blocks from il Duomo and situated on Piazza Repubblica, a visitor gets to experience the sights and sounds of the city.
