This is a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and there was a good range of pastries and cereals for breakfast. Also an easy walk to the main attractions and the train station.
- Bonciani Hotel Florence

This is a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and there was a good range of pastries and cereals for breakfast. Also an easy walk to the main attractions and the train station.
We stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to Florence. The location is excellent - it is an easy walk from the station and the Duomo. A facelift would not do any harm, but it is clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful. The buffet breakfast is adequate - possible they did not have enough visitors to...

"Great location - disappointing hotel"
First impressions as we arrived were not good. This was our first experience with the unhelpful, unfriendly and lazy attitude of Italian accomodation staff supplying overpriced second rate facilities. The people at reception were unhelpful in every way. The only time his eyes lit up was when he was offering his little car parking scam,...

It was sooo bad hotel...
Florence was so lovely and beautiful city!
So,I enjoed taking a walk in the daytime.
But after taking a walk,I didn't want to go back this hotel...
Because it was so dark and dusty...!!
This hotel made me sick...
Especially,a hair dryer like a "vacuum cleaner"
and narrow shower room like prison.
I don't recommend...

The hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. We even got a history lesson about the origins of the hotel Bonciani. The Hotel is situated close to all of the...

This place is more like a hostel!
Arrived , get handed the aircon remote (obviuosly they are used to more scaly clientelle) then recieved zero help with our bags , then had to lug them up more stairs as the tiny lift only serves part of a split level hotel.
The recieptoin is dark as they only use some lights...

This hotel was nicely situated, 5 minutes from the main train station and 5 minutes walking from the centre of Florence. Rooms were adequate, breakfast was basic and the worst coffee i have ever tasted. The hotel reception staff were the most unfriendly encountered on our travels through Europe. Not a good morning or even a hello any time of...

Only thing positive about this hotel is the closeness to the train station, a few blocks away, you can walk with your luggage.
Hotel clerk was not friendly. We had to take the lift to the third floor and then walk up another flight of stairs to our room. No offer to assist.
Room was small, dark and looked out...
