Stopping off on a city break this spring we were delighted with this hidden gem. A properly staffed and run hotel with really comfortable rooms and a pleasant public area. The food at breakfast rather let things down, with no explanations offered - as long as you like buffet style omelette and greasy bacon you will be fine. Several diners... More

Located a stone's throw from the river and a short walk from major attractions and the Ponte Veccio, this place was AWESOME! Elegant, classy, clean, great service and killer breakfasts (ask for the hot chocolate, you'll be blown away by what they bring - as long as you really like chocolate). The square footage was by far the biggest and... More

Won this hotel through priceline as I was in shock as this wasn't even on the list of my researched hotels in the area. Receptionist was nice, and gave us a newer renovated room, but was on first floor. No wifi in room at all. Had to come to lobby to use wifi. Breakfast was average.

The hotel is great, walking distance to the centre, rooms are basic not like shown on the site but big and clean. Asked for a triple room got 2 adjacent rooms with 2 bathrooms which was great!! Wifi is not very strong, breakfast is basic but ok. Staff was very very nice and helped in all information needed

I have to say that I found the Hotel Executive the best place that I have stayed in Florence. The hotel is so beautiful and clean with friendly warm staff who are extremely available to help if required. My room was luxurious with clean comfort. The breakfast was great and eaten in a really attractive room. I would definitely book... More

Hotel Executive, What to Say? Where to Begin? - Pleasant staff, attentive and auto-responsive - Rooms are out-dated with egg shell cracks everywhere except the doors - Paper-thin walls, windows, cieling and floors - Extremely high content of chemicals in the water - Poor television offering - 07:00-22:00 room service - Poor selection at the free-of-charge breakfast - Poor ventilation... Dear Mr Alkhaja, This is surely the longest review we never received, our answer will not be as long as your comment, but we think one thing is clear: we are a 4 stars hotel and not a Dubai 7 stars one. First of all, we thank you for your positive comment about our Staff attitude and personally for the... More

Weekend trip to Florence with my wife - hotel offered good value (£100 night), location (15 minute walk to city centre) and the staff were friendly but it was a little tired and dated. We were in room 213 which was small and in need of modernisation.
