I was recently in Florence for a citytrip and found this new place to stay: the really beautiful Orlando Palace. We stayed at the Orlando Palace for seven nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Very close to the centre of town (just a minutes walk from the ponte vecchio bridge). It appears to be brand new as many of the appliances were unused and everthing was spotlessly clean.
