I stayed at the Westin next door but had dinner once at the lobby restaurant of the St. Regis. I am not able to tell how good the rooms are, but the lobby is beautiful, amazing food, really high quality ingredients, great service, very enjoyable evening.

Spent 13 nights here for my 50th birthday. The room was amazing and I felt like I was back in the renaissance time. Service was excellent and by the end of the trip everyone knew who we where. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was to come back to Florence, felt like a Queen

We stayed here last summer while we were attending a wedding in Florence. The service was top notch, rooms were clean and whimsically decorated with renditions of famous frescoes etc. We did not have any issues with noise or sound from the streets. Location is wonderful, near Arno river and walking distance restaurants, attractions, and shopping.
