The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom though was really small (width wise). We felt someone of little over average girth might find it hard to get into the bathroom. The room had simple furnishings, but it was clean which was more important for us. The person at the reception was helpful, he gave us detailed directions on a map... More

My mother and I started at Loggia Fiorentina on our first night in Italy after long international flights. The staff people are fabulous - unfailingly kind and helpful (they went out of their way for us as we struggled with several issues related to the rest of the trip), fluent in both English and Italian, and probably several other languages... I was looking for a nice, beautiful but affordable stay in Florence, one of my favourite cities in Italy. Those who have already been there may know that there's a huge gap between the cheap, lousy hotels and the expensive, nice ones. Loggia Fiorentina does the trick and offers beautiful rooms, excellent service and unbeatable position for a fair price.... More

Hotel Loggia Fiorentina is my favorite accommodation in Italy. I just saw some negative comments about their staff, but turned out the staff here are the most friendly ones I had in Italy. I met an Asian couple at the lobby, and they also said the staff here are much better than they had in other cities. (I am an... More

We were very pleased with our stay. Everyone who worked at the desk was very helpful, from giving us an overview of what to see in the city to great restaurant recommendations. Fabrizio even called ahead, unbeknownst to us, and we were greeted by name by the waiter - what a great experience in another country! The rooms were kept... More

Booked three nights in this property after reading some trip advisor recommendations, but sadly they were very misleading. Very overrated motel. Hardly a hotel to be called. Situated in very old building, which was a residential area of other people. After entering the corridor I was shocked with a terrible old smell of furniture. I was wondering how our room... More

Suited our needs. Close to the centre of town and the railway station. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was decent value. Things clean and tidy, but quite an old, uncomfortable bed. No major issues, an OK place to stay for a few nights More

Wonderful little hotel about 10 min walk from Santa Maria Novella. We had one of the smaller rooms, but it was clean and tidy, and suited us perfect. The best thing about this hotel is the staff! They´re very helpful, service-minded and speaks good english. They we´re always willing to answer any questions we had. The shared bathrooms were clean... More

We had a twin room and shared bathrooms with others on our floor. The room was adorably decorated and furnished, and the beds were comfortable, but we were perplexed by the fact that our en suite toilet? urinal? was truly en suite, with no divider or separation between it and the sleeping area. The shared bathrooms were pretty bad. I... More
