I can't say enough good things about Casa Schlatter. I am a frequent visitor to Florence, and I'm making Casa Schlatter my home away from home from now on! I've stayed at the best Florence has to offer -- but the charm of this home and the service that Alessandra provides is superb. She's quite a pastry chef, so don't... More

I stayed 2 nights recently and thought the whole setting was very interesting and cozy. There is a very nice lounge and backyard, breakfast is quite good (Americans note there is no cooked breakfast, it is Italy!) and good free wifi. Our room was facing the main road so it was a bit noisy. The room itself was nice, but... More

Just a couple of clarification: - The room is facing on a small garden and not directly on the road, and it is very quiet although we are in town. - for not cooked breakfast, she mean, eggs or salted things, that of course, we do, but up on request,( this guest asked for an Italian style breakfast.) - Since... We spent four days at casa Schlatter in early suummer and we found a real gem in Florence! The rooms with attached bathrooms are very fresh with a fantastic atmosphere. Casa Schlatter proprietress, Alessandra, took good care of us and we felt very welcome. It is easy to get from casa Schlatter to the Florence city centre by public transport,... More

We were delighted by our choice of Casa Schlatter. It offered comfort and utility in a pleasing setting. The paintings, by the owner's great grandfather, surround you with the feel of the city in earlier times. The sites of Firenze were a bus ride or cab ride away and the neighborhood offered easy shopping and a good selection of restaurants.... More

Casa Schlatter was indeed a wonderful find. Our family of four rented the house for a week at Christmas. It had all the amenities one could ask for. Good bathrooms, nice size bedrooms with comfortable beds and great sheets. After a day of running around we all enjoyed coming home to relax in a comfortable family room, with a wide... More

We came to see Maestro Ennio Morricone directing an orchestra in Florence. The venue was only a 10 min walk away from the Casa Schlatter and so I contacted Alessandra. The same day we got a very friendly mail back and so we came - La Nonna (a year older than Mastro Morricone – 85 years), our daughter (3,5 years),... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Schlatter. My husband and I prefer tiny boutique B&B's/Inn to that of big hotels and resorts. Casa Schaltter definitely fit the bill. A quick 5 minute taxi ride has you right in the thick of it however if you peace and quiet just head back to the B&B. Alessandra was a complete joy... More

We found – Casa Schlatter – by accident – an accident we would be happy to have anytime! When the B&B we originally wanted to stay in was fully booked, they recommended we contact Alessandra at Casa Schlatter. Alessandra's greeting was so welcoming that we felt very relaxed as soon as we walked through the doors. Her home, which becomes... More

We rented the place for a month and were delighted. It is very spacious and with good access to public transportation. We were 6 adults and 3 kids and were all very comfortable. If you like running, there is a nice circuit by the Stadium a block away. It is also located very close to the Campo di Marte train... More

We stayed 2 weeks at Casa Schlatter in August with 4 adults. The home is lovely and very well located in Florence. We took a bus into San Marc square and walked to all of the sites. You could easily walk there but it was too hot. Alessandra was very helpful and friendly. Great restaurants had gelato nearby. It was... More
