5 star all the way! Aamazing owner who makes sure all his guests are well taken care of. Boutique hotel, modern, sleek and spotless. We stayed on the first floor and had a private balcony which came in handy after a long day of exploring. Was also fabulous to have a fridge to cool our vino so when we retuned... More

Palazzo del Sale is stylish without seeming to try too hard. It is an inventive and low-key adaptive re-use of a historic building in a sublimely beautiful historic quarter that has been allowed to fall into near-ruin, but seems on the verge of a renaissance. Mod-cons are a bit compromised in the interests of preserving the charm of the building... More

We stayed three nights in this wonderful place. Great rooms, very clean and in very good taste. The owners were kind and helpful The breakfast room and the food were fantastic. One of the few places that served us freshly squeezed orange juice.

We visited Sicily in October and this was the best place we stayed. We had the room on the picture which is large, light and airy with good storage. The breakfasts were the best we had in Sicily. The location is great too. Reliable restaurant recommendations especially Calliope. You can park pretty near so lack of parking on the street... More

My partner and I stayed at Palazzo del Sale over New Year 2012/3. This B&B has an attractive interior; I particularly liked the breakfast room/sitting room which was a pleasant place to relax after a busy day exploring fascinating Ortygia (old Siracusa). Breakfast was good. Our room was spacious and had a mezzanine level with 2 single beds in addition... More

We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms, all we can say is that the rooms are very modern and quite spacious. There is plenty of food for the breakfast. Giovanni was very friendly and helpful, he told us where to eat and we were not disapointed by his choice

We spent 2 nights here on our 10-day trip through Sicily, and although we stayed in several very nice spots, this was my absolute favorite. I'm not sure why I loved it so much. Giovanni is very friendly and the location in Ortigia is great. I was worried about arriving by car but it wasn't a problem. You can take... More

This b&b felt like home. Had a very nice room, spacious, clean and the roomdoor opening to the lounge/livingroom area. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The owner is a great guy, enough tips from him to eat and for sightseeing. Location is awesome, everything is close by. Breakfast is a treat, fresh fruits, the best coffee (is there bad... More

We stayed here for 6 nights. This describes itself as a b and b. and offers comfortable rooms with lots of room and air conditioning. The breakfast is eaten together and offers a range of fresh stuff. Although Giovanni is there morning and afternoon,it's helpful to have keys for coming and going. The staff were obliging, all spoke more than... More
