Giovanni was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Although in the centre of Palermo, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable with an old world charm. We were able to walk to all the sites and the B&B was very close to the bus station for a morning trip to the spectacular church at Monreale. As other... More

Dear guest, thank you for the excellent review. It's important to note that the bathrooms are all private (5 bathrooms for each of the 5 rooms), and also that I provide guests with slippers and bathrobes that can be used out of the bathroom to go to the room. Best regards Giovanni More

Giovanni is the perfect host--even baking fresh bread and cakes for breakfast--which also includes meat, cheese, yoghurt, fabulous real Italian coffee (the best we had in 5 weeks of B & Bs from Palermo to Venice), croissants, jam, etc, all in a beautiful dining room. The furnishings of the guest rooms and the common areas are gracious, comfortable and vintage.... More

Giovanni must be the best host in Palermo. Nothing was too much trouble, even getting up at 4.00 am to make sure we had breakfast before a very early flight. Giovanni even bakes his own bread and apple cake for the guests' breakfast. He is super efficient and speaks perfect English. Spotlessly clean premises and so close to the bus... More

The B&B owner, Giovanni, was great! The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are private but down the hall. Fresh linens including a robe and slippers are provided. Breakfast everyday including home made bread and pastries, yogurt, fruit, delicious coffee, prosciutto and mozzarella. The B&B location is perfect. Walking distance to the train/bus station. Close to the historic district and many... More

We were not sure where the best area was to stay in Palermo but Panormus turned out to be a very good choice. The B&B is very well located 5 minutes walk from the main station, walking distance from many of the main attractions, and buses are close-by (including an aeroport bus). At night the area though is a bit... More

The B&B owner, Giovanni, was excellent, and made us feel very welcome, and did everything to make our stay as easy as possible. I think this can make a big difference when there are so many average B&Bs. However, it is also very nicely decorated and maintained B&B. Very clean and cool. It is the top floor of the building.... Thank you to have recommended my b & b. Some clarifications to the readers: The b & b Panormus is located in a historic building, all rooms have beautiful vaulted ceilings and antique floors; I did not build the private bathrooms inside the rooms to preserve the architectural elements. I think that everything that is antique and that describes the... More

We stayed at Giovanni's B&B Panormus twice during our honeymoon in Sicily (3 nights upon our arrival in Palermo and two nights before heading back home). We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to stay in the historic center of Palermo. The B&B is on via Roma, literally 10 minutes walking distance... Panormus was without doubt one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. The location alone makes it ideal, an easy walk from the train and bus connections. But the standard of the accomodation makes it really special. The breakfasts were generous and delicious (after filling myself up, I could do with just a snack for lunch!), the room... More

Sicily is beautiful, Palermo and Panormus B&B also. The location was good. It´s located in the center of Palermo and it is very convenient. The service was perfect. The rooms are very clean and spacious, breakfast tasty, so I would recommend this b&b. Giovanni is the Perfect host :) We'll try to come back again. Thanks!

We spent 3 nights at the Panoramas B & B. Our host was beyond gracious. We were greeted promptly, and shown to our room. The owner gave us a verbal tour of the city, circling on the map the many points of interest. This was so helpful. He also gave several recommendations for restaurants. He was always prompt and gracious... More
