The Grand Liberty is comfortable, clean, quiet and reasonably priced. The desk staff was helpful, with restaurant recommendations and tips on travel to the Eolian Islands. A nice hotel, but it's really geared much more towards Conferences than tourists / romantic breaks (as evidenced when we went to breakfast and inadvertently walked into one...). The hotel is ideally located for the train station though (a few mins walk) and the rooms are clean. Made a good base for our day trip to Messina.
