My fiancee and I stayed here while we were in the area. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The pool area is the center of it all and really nice to look at! There was some leaves scatted across the area, but with the time of year to be expected. We didn't get to the pool this time, as it was... More

This was my second trip to Sicily and my second visit at the Romano palace. I love this place!!! The service is amazing the rooms are fantastic, the grounds breathtaking. I also celebrated my 50th birthday there, it was like a dream, everything was prepared with the outmost care service was the best I have ever seen. The food was... More

Lovely hotel and facilities 4 small glasses of very ordinary local wine and a toasted sandwich cost over 50 Euros (Sandwich 7 euros) was quite surprising especially as there was no wine prices on menu.

We stayed for one night on our last night in Sicily. The room itself was fine not exactly five star quality though. The ensuite was quite poor and the shower pressure was just ok the most annoying part though was the shower which is badly positioned and resulted in the floor being soaked after each use. The part that really... More

We stayed at this 5-star hotel because it was very close to the airport and we had a 6:30 am flight. Ahead of time via e-mail, they said they had a shuttle that would take us to the airport. It is 6-minutes away and the ride to the hotel from the airport was 33 Euros. They told us that the... More

A very beautiful hotel, with a very pleasant swimming pool. The beach is a bit dirty in low season, but a very nice environment all together. We did not hear a plane at all for a whole week there. The real high point is service, which is better than most places we've travelled to. The staff is very nice, helpful,... More

We stayed overnight as we had a very early flight the next morning. Definitely not a 5 star. The cab dropped us on the street and we had to wheel our bags to the hotel and finding the entrance was challenging to say the least. It is a 5 star, but there was no one to greet or guide us... More

I was really torn, selecting the rating of this hotel, because there are some amazing aspects of this hotel but some other aspects which were a real turn off. Let's start with the good: So the actual establishment is beautiful. The grounds and gardens are really gorgeous with lovely water features and the air literally smelt like flowers. We stayed one night in this hotel, before crossing over to visit Calabria. The entrance of the hotel is very impressive, the room was rather old-fashioned but very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, in a beautiful, light-engulfed restaurant. Service was friendly and professional, as one would expect from a 5-star hotel.

This is a great solution, either for business or for holiday. The hotel offers really nice, comfortable and cleaned rooms, with a good selection of food and beverages at breakfast.
