We chose to celebrate our upcoming anniversary at the hotel. The room was spacious, attractive, and very comfortable. Staff was friendly, very helpful, and provided a bottle of our favorite local wine to celebrate our anniversary. They even helped us find places that sold the bells my husband collects. We liked the location - 10 minutes from the center of...

Staff helpful, rooms were good if a little barrack like. Restaurant good. Downside no provision of drinks and snacks outside meal times. On balance, expensive for what it offers.
Perhaps our expectations were too high as the website suggested an actual modern though atmospheric agriturismo as we had experienced previously in Sicily: including all facilities (they have everything) and a nice atmosphere (they don't have any..). It seems that at this place they tried to do it all, but did not succeed. There is a court yard, but it's...

spent 4 nights at hotel booked a superior room on 1st floor it was excellent very roomy and good facilities The swimming pool and grounds were good , very few of the guests stayed on site during day and evening so lacking a bit of atmosphere you need a car but the region is great especially Alghero
Hotel room was nice size but the shower floor was far from clean, smelling of mold. Very good king size beds. The hotel offers a lot of facilities and excursions. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant lacks charm. Would recommend it for stay of 1-2 nights to explore the surrounding area. Not to spend a week.
We spent ten days in this little resort. After our arrival (by ferryboat from Genoa) we felt immediately at ease, because the owners and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the whole complex was renovated with much taste.
We also enjoyed a trip by sailing ship with the owner...

The resort is located few miles outside of Alghero town, hence the name country hotel resort. However, it was very nice, peaceful and tranquil perfect to unwind. The old stables converted into simple but modern and stylish rooms were very elegant
Staff are helpful and friendly and very pleasant and the food in the restaurant is superb.
Hope to be...

Converted from a Monastery then farm and stables into a lovely hotel with many outstanding feastures. We were in the "Stable" block and our room was simply furnished but tasteful. The pool area in the garden, with tennis courts beyond, was splendid and the patio overlooking the pool for alfresco dining was ideal. We had an excellent dinner one evening,...

Alghero Resort is just lovely and its like a sanctuary just outside of the main centre, i can't wait to go back! You do need a car if you stay here but we enjoyed being able to escape the hustle and bustle in the old town and head back out to the peace and quiet.
All the staff were outstanding...
