Price was great, especially considering that a buffet breakfast was included and the hotel was very close to the heart of Verona (about 15-20 mins walk away which feel like a breeze). Breakfast was not extravagant, but very appreciated and saved us some bucks. Options layed out on the buffet included toats, croissants, cheese, cold cuts/salami, jelly, nutella-type spread, coffee... More

I am not sure that there is anything really negative to write about this Hotel. If you are coming to Verona and on a particular budget (i.e. not the 'money is no object' kind of person!) then this is a perfect hotel to stay in. Located about 5 minutes or so from the station, it is perfect for basing your... More

My friend and I had a holiday travelling around Italy in which we stayed in Milan, Verona, Mestre and Rome and we rated each of the hotels for fun. This came out second to top! Great value for money! The rooms were very long which was unusual but the bathroom was excellent! Everything was very clean and the breakfast was... More

This hotel is in easy walking distance from the train so I'd certainly recommend it for those like me who are getting around that way. The rooms are quite small but clean, quite and nice and dark at night. Breakfast was quite good with a decent range of options including a great selection of Teas. This hotel does hold onto... More

Dear guest, in our hotel there is no difference between the rooms on the front and the back: both are very quiet! In fact in the back there is a park and in the front a small secondary street where at night there is absolutely no traffic. Probably when you have booked we were fully booked and then someone has... I stayed at the hotel during a 4-day stay in Verona and it proved to be a good decision. It is located near the main train station (Porta Nova) and also near the main attractions. We reached the Castelvecchio in 5 minutes walk. Food was ok. Every day we had good cleaning service: the bed was made, the towels were... More

We chose Piccolo Hotel for our last night in Italy before early departure on the next morning. We thought about staying at hostel, but prices were almost the same, so we chose Piccolo hotel. We knew that it’s a low cost accommodation and were ready for any inconvenience, but it was enough good place for its price. Piccolo is a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your positive review! I'm sorry if the hotel seemed empty to you but... it really was! December is low season in Verona and we have not so much guests, if you will come back visiting us in summertime you will find for sure a more funny place... The room you have booked is... More

This hotel is very basic located near the railroad station, reasonably price but not near much else. It's about a 20 minute walk to the old town which is fabulous with an intact colloseum small but really interesting. You are allowed to walk around without a tour. Has many squares and walkable streets. The old town is really worth a... More

Verona hotels seem to be priced more by location than quality. The Piccolo certainly isn`t luxurious but in terms of value/location seems to be a good choice. A 5min walk (noticeably a red-light area with some homeless souls sleeping in bus shelters but I suppose this is fairly normal in major cities) from Porta Nuova train station and 15mins to... More
