We only spent one day in Verona for our entire Italy trip, but had a really nice stay with Il Ghiro. The room is colorful, comfortable and private. The host, Stella, is nice and warmly welcomed us. She gave some great advice on moving around the city and also treated us a wonderful breakfast on the other morning. Highly recommended!

We stayed 6 nights at Il Ghiro and it was very enjoyable. The place is small but nice to be at, 10 minutes walk from the centre and the station. It has fresh colors, a spacey room with a good bed, and a nice breakfast. The lady of the house runs the B&B while her husband has an artgallery in... More

Staying with Stella at B&B Il Ghiro, really made our time in Verona more enjoyable. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, picking us up from the bus station and dropping us off in town in the evening. She gave us some great advice on what to see and where to eat while we were staying in Verona. She even took... More

On a month tour of Europe, we had the chance to explore many bed and breakfasts. Stella's hospitality and genuine interest in making us feel at home and help us enjoy our stay in Verona was unforgettable. On top of it all, the rooms are unique and artistic, the food delicious and good quality, and the location is walking distance... More

We stayed at Il Ghiro in April this year & could not fault it. The room we stayed in was lovely and had a really cosy homely feel to it. Stella was very welcoming and could not have been more helpful with suggestion of places to visit. The b & b is a little way from the centre of Verona,... More

We stayed with Stella for 7 nights and could write a small book on how good our stay was. People would normally stay 2/3 nights so we are in good position to give real feedback. Stella could not have been more helpful and accomodating especially as this is her home. She went out of her way to make the stay... More

We stayed two nights at Stella's B&B and had a great time! We felt absolutely welcome and almost at home. Breakfast is devine and the room lovely decorated. You are not right in the heart of the city center, but if you don't mind walking a couple of minutes and want private / secure parking, it's the best. A big... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Il Ghiro and would definitelyh stay again if we were to revisit Verona. It's an easy 15 minute walk from the train station, a 20 minute stroll to the Arena and - if you're hot and bothered - an €8 taxi ride home! Although the guest rooms form part of the owners' apartment (on... More

We stayed one night at this B&B as it was our only night in Verona. Our flight arrived at 7 pm to the airport, but we very much wanted to go to the opera at the arena. A few days before we arrived, I emailed Stella to ask if she could suggest someone who could pick up our opera tix... More
