Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was only rolls and jam but was delightful with the nuns serving the coffee and tea. Nothing fancy but for Venice the price was outstanding and we would highly recommend.

Nuns run this convent as a hotel - none speak English - one speaks French, but they are friendly and try to communicate. No air conditioning but they do have fans if you ask.
