Like the others have said its location is fantastic. Anything further than this down Venice's Main street would be tough when you have to lug baggage through the cobbled streets, especially if its raining. The receptionist- Claudia I think is her name is all smiles and sincerity. She even packed us a breakfast to carry along when she knew that... More

We choose this location based on the vicinity to the train station and parking. It worked out great. Venice is so easily accessible by water taxi's. We were just a short walk to the taxi station. Hotel was great and comfortable. Breakfast adequate. Only thing was receptionist didn't speak any English.

When we arrived from the airport by bus, it was raining really hard. Therefore, it was great that Ca' Lucrezia was just a short walk from the bus station. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Beware of mosquitoes, opening windows is not recommended. Breakfast was very good by Italian standards. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They even came one... More

We arrived at St Lucia station late afternoon and only took 2 mins to walk to the hotel. We only stayed over night, which was cut extra short due to the train strike the following day, meaning we left Venice early morning. For the short time we were at the hotel it was clean, the breakfast was ok and was... More

As others have stated the main draw to this hotel is the location. It is right around the corner from the train station. If you haven't been to Venice before you will likely arrive either by bus or train (unless you take a water taxi from the airport which I hear can be pricey). Both the bus and train terminals... We stayed here for a couple of nights. We found this hotel relatively easy. It is not quite located in the centre of all the tourist attractions in Venice, but everything is situated very closely. We walked everywhere to explore Venice, and we often got lost as well. But it is a very safe and clean tourist area, and we... More

This is a small hotel at short walking distance from the train station (3-4 min walk). It's a good choice for people who arrive by train and have luggage with them because you don't have to walk far with the luggage. The hotel is on a small and quiet side street. There are many restaurants nearby. It's in the historic... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of a tour, and I wish we had stayed all nights. I booked this hotel blind from another hotels booking site (mainly for price, and proximity to the train station), and the hotel was clean, warm and the bathroom had wonderful hot water pressure. We had a 'suite' up on the... More

Venice wad our last stop in Italy before flying to Spain and so far been pretty happy with our choice of 1-2 star hotel stays.. This hotel was a slight let down than going up.. Location: close to the station yes but at the end of a alleyway narrow 'road' which we completely missed and only realized after walking in... More

The best reason to stay here is it's location. It's about a 3-4 minute walk from the train station, and you have less than a 5% chance of getting lost along that trek. We didn't appreciate this fact until we ended up getting lost a few times in our 2 days in Venice (and we pride ourselves with being able... More
