This review is only about their customer service. I made a reservation for this hotel online, and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, the next day I received an E-mail from their customer service representative saying that they had cancelled my reservation because "the credit card details you entered are incorrect". Of course, when I went back to try and... More

After a late arrival, we were buzzed in to the B&B and found our key waiting for us in an envelope. Our room was extremely compact, room only for a double bed with basic mattress and a small desk. Bathroom was of an adequate size, however the cleanliness of the bathroom was a concern - small amounts of mould throughout... More

The location of Ca' San Vio was perfect for us. About a 5 minute walk from Piazza San Marco. We weren't really looking to do any museums in Venice, we just wanted to enjoy the city for its own beauty, so I can't comment on its proximity to any other major sites since we didn't look for any. Anyway, we... More

I just returned from what I hope to be the first of many trips to Italy and while this was a nice hotel overall, I would not necessarily recommend it to the American traveling abroad for the first time. When we arrived we were buzzed in and greeted, not by a concierge, but by an envelope with our name on... More

This hotel is in a great location in a quiet street but a stone's throw from Zattere and Accademia. The room we had was compact, clean and stylish with a decently equipped ensuite. All at a decent price. The air conditioning was much appreciated. The breakfast is delivered to the room which was a nice touch. I'd have no hesitation... More

I stayed here one night while traveling through Europe. The staff were really kind, friendly, and made my stay in Venice more enjoyable. The rooms was cosy but nicely furnished as they served you a good breakfast in the morning. I definitely recommend it.

This hotel was recommended by Rick Steves. The hotel was definitely enough for our stay, but there wasn't anything above and beyond about it. What we liked most was its location in Dorsoduro away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of food and sights. We saw Marco, one of the owners, when he served breakfast to our room... We stayed in one room the first night which was called small, and in fact is was very tiny, and bathroom incredibly tiny. The room for the next two nights was offered in the email as large with a large bathroom, but in fact the room was small, and the bathroom was in fact still tiny with very small shower... More

Locanda Ca' San Vio is located outside the main tourist path in Venice in a tranquil location. We had the room shown in their brochure, and it was of average Italian size, with all the facilities expected. The bathroom was quite small. The breakfast, served in the bedroom on a tray was very good. The hotel is behind the Peggy Gugenheim... More

Before my trip to Italy, everyone was telling me to stay the night outside Venice island because the island was expensive. Dont stay outside the Island. Stay at Ca San Vio. Inexpensive, great great location not far from the vaporeto station where you can go everywhere. Actually the island is not so big and you can walk almost to everywhere.... More
