This was the fifth and last hotel on my Italy itinerary and by far the best. Room was small but didn't feel that way with a double bed. Step down to a dressing room and bath room as big as the bedroom. Well decorated and feeling of care and concern for guest.Window overlooking quiet garden. Only hotel that actually gave... More

We booked 2 rooms (Jacuzzi room & the Batik room) based on TA reviews and a strong recommendation from a neighbor who had stayed at Ca' dei Dogi before a cruise departure. Susanna was terrific during the booking process and very helpful with specific directions to their hotel. We took the public water bus/taxi from the airport to the hotel... More

We booked the "Dogi" after reading positive TripAdvisor comments. Although we originally enquired about the hotel, Stefano told us we could have the apartment opposite for 10 euro less. He provided very good instructions for finding the hotel (which were necessary). The hotel is very close to the Bridge of Sighs and directly behind the Doge's palace. It is a... More

My husband and I stayed at Ca dei Dogi on 5/4/12. We had a double room. It was small but not too small. The bathroom was fantastic. The best thing about our stay was the service though. The manager helped us find another hotel for the night after we returned on our cruise. We did not realize the America's Cup... More

Hidden away behind the Doges Palace is the Ca' dei Dogi. It is very small but the rooms are pretty, modern, and the overall value is great. Stefano recommended a great wine bar called Enoteca Mascaretta which we somehow managed to find in the pouring rain. Book well in advance to secure a room as they go fast.

We booked this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The location is one of the best in Venice down a small alley not far from St Marks Square but what makes this hotel is Stefano Suzanna and all the staff. The hotel is excellent very private a respite from the crowds .We visited with my sister and... I took my mum to Venice for her bday as it was always a dream of hers to go. Booked hotel based on others feedback on here and it was the best choice I ever made. Hotel was just lovely so clean and stunning rooms. The location is the best location you could ever get, just the next alley to... More

This was a 5 minute walk off the San Marco/San Zacchari water taxi stop. The location was absolutely perfect. The rooms are very small but very modern and clean. We booked the twin room and were pleasantly surprised that we were upgrade to the double w/a balcony. There is no elevator so if steps is a problem make sure to... More

Perfect location and faultless service with a smile. Kind and considerate staff. Room was small but you don't go to Venice for the hotel room so we were more than satisfied. Pricey but that's Venice for you and didn't think it overpriced.. Breakfast plentiful.

This is right beside the basilica in a great location. Staff were very hospitable, in fact when we arrived our luggage was not on the plane . We were staying one night there and catching a cruise ship the following day. The owner spent the day and overnight to track down where our luggage was. He found it and indicated... More
