Super friendly and helpful staff. Great value for your money. Recommended by Rick Steve's and we were absolutely satisfied. We would definitely stay here again. On a side note, recommend following the recommended directions. We took the bus and had a bit of a hike with our bags and all.

Awesome 3-night stay. Extremely friendly staff, clean room, powerful A/C, and a varied breakfast that saves both time and money. My spouse and I were recommended this hotel by the Rick Steves book, and we were not disappointed. 10-15 minute walk from Piazza San Marco or the Rialto Bridge, it is located in a legitimate Venice neighbourhood, which lets you... Alloggi Barbaria was a great choice for a B&B for our stay in Venice. My friend and i were only in Venice for one day and night, and were pleased with both the room and the breakfast offerred in the morning on the last day of our stay. In another review i read that it was hard to nativate to... More

When it comes to Venice, this B&B made me fall in love with Venice. If it wasn't for the amazing people there, I would probably never consider returning to Venice again. This placed felt like you were part of an Italian family, the older man (I believe Georgio), was extremely nice, caring and sweet. The other concierge, Fausto, was extremely... More

This B&B hit every note important to me in a hotel: it was clean, located off the beaten tourist track but still within walking distance to important sites, and very large by European standards. The room was quite large, as was the bathroom. A few people have complained about finding the hotel, but if you follow their directions EXACTLY, it's... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was easy for us to get to all places we wanted to see in Venice. The manager and the girls at the reception were very nice and helpful, they recommended places to visit and restaurants and told us what boats we needed to take every time. It was easy to find the... The best 2 star I have ever stayed at! The people who give this a bad review have to keep in mind that this is a 2 star. And for a 2 star it is very clean and the people who work there very nice. Most people can't afford to spend 300 dollars a night so for just over 100... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 1 year old son recently. It was fairly basic but good value for money in what is a really expensive city. We arrived early (about 9:30am) and were allowed to check in immediately which was appreciated. The hotel is easy to find with the directions shown on the website.... More

I was torn when choosing a place in Venice. I did not end up choosing wisely. It was a very convenient location to get on and off the the water taxi's but once we walked down the dirty dark alley and entered the cold sterile environment we were greatly disappointed. The greeter girl was very pleasant. Basically your walking into... More

I found this hotel on both trip advisor and Frommer's. This was our first trip to Italy and Venice was our first stop. Candidly, I didn't really have a good context when I booked it but it seemed like it was a great find. Finding it was the hard part! We received bad information at the Venice airport on what... More
