The location of the hotel is near to the railway station whereby no crossing of the bridge is required. It come with the basic facilities like a hostel minus the kitchen for the hostel guest. The room is big with a basin and mirror in the room without the toilet. The toilet is a shared one. However, the room does... More

Bad: cheap and old furniture, worn out towels, broken door of the shower cabin. Good: perfect location, TV set. Will do as a 1 night stand, but don't expect more from it. The price is unreasonably high. As i entered the room the first time, it had a very strong smell of cigarettes, though it was a non-smoking room.

We stayed at this "Hotel" in July 2011 while we were on our honeymoon. Venice was one of the many stops throughout our trip. We wanted to keep costs low because we figured we'd splurge more on food and great wine. BIG MISTAKE! This place should not call itself a Hotel but rather a hostel. There is no elevator so... More

Easy to find and close to the station. Pretty basic room not luxury in the slightest. Had to use communal bathroom which wasn't too bad although not ideal. Very noisy due to central location so woken early in the morning. However, this hotel has friendly staff and is in the Cannaregio region which we liked and found easy to get... More

For basic low cost travel, hard to find better in Venice. Suggest requesting a room with a private bathroom. Room had worn furniture and bathrrpm had a leaky shower that was very moldy. Staff was quite cheerful and helpful, and the location is great - just a short walk to the train station.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our Italian honeymoon. While we loved Venice, but this hotel was a horrible experience. We made a reservation for 3 nights and they double booked our room for the third night. They didn't tell us this, because they didn't realize they had done this until 6 pm our last night there... Best part about this hotel is that it is a 2 minute walk from Santa Maria train station. It is in a great location just off one of the main streets. Very basic but clean room with shared bathroom. Got electric shock from a lamp where the wires were not covered with plastic coating.

We arrived in Venice train station quite late. On the way to Venice, we have did some research and Hotel Adua is one of the recommended hotel by Lonely Planet. Upon arrival, a guy is standing at the station in a cold night representing the hotel and recommend us to stay in Hotel Adua. We were happy to follow as... More

This was our first time in Venice and we wanted to stay in the island. This place worked well. It was close distance from the train and easy to walk around. The room was small size but it is expected for Venice. We stayed in the main building were the reception area is and we didn't have any problems. Staff... More

My friend and I did a tour of Italy, and of all of the places we stayed, Hotel Adua was both the most expensive, and the least impressive. There was the bare minimum supplied, and while everything appeared to be mostly clean, it was also quite old and run down. We also had to wait for the person at the... More
