We were very happy with this hotel as it was a few minutes walk to the bus/train/waterboat stations. We flew with Ryanair to Treviso, so got tickets for a coach on the plane (7 euro), and it met us outside the airport and took us to the bus station in Venice, which was a few minutes minute walk with our... We wanted to stay in a typical venetian room and booked a deluxe room in this three star hotel, near the railstation. Its location is very nice, only a few meters from shops, the famous Venetian bridge and public transport in and out the city, but once in the hotel we were very disapointed. There weren't any curtains, so by... More

Great location, very handy and easy walk from station! The streets dont have names that seem to make any sense and we went at night but still found it alright as i had studied the map very well. The room was so lovely! Bathroom small ish, but its Venice! The room was a decent size as well considering the price,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of October. On arrival the member of staff who checked us in was friendly enough and was happy to provide information on restaurants etc, when asked. The room was very small with about 1 foot of space around the bed. The only amenities were air conditioning (not used) and a small... More

We stayed for 4 nights. This hotel was selected for it's location (close to the train station), and ease of access - it did not require the use of a boat to get to our accommodation. The location is great, and we found all we wanted within a few minutes - canals, transport, shops, restaurants. At the time we stayed,... More

Damp walls with mould in the bedroom and bathrrom. Rusted fittings in the bedroom. The bedroom opened on to the breakfast room where the coffee and tea machines were filled from water from the nearby toilet. It is possible that others enjoyed a very different experience but for myself and my wife and two friends our experience of the accomodation... More

The room was basic: very small but clean, as was the attached bathroom which included shower only. The hotel is located in a small side street allowing for a quiet nights sleep. The breakfast room was also small, but the food provided was more than sufficient: cold cuts and cheese, croissants, fruit cocktail, yogourt, cereal, milk, cookies, crackers, coffee, tea... More

We were traveling like backpackers!.. When we arrived in Venezia, we asked in the train station for one good but not too expensive hotel. In the Tourist Information they recommended us 'Il Mercante di Venezia'. It was a really good choice! The hotel is very cosy, the service is good, it include a small but nice breakfast, and the price... More
