The good reviews for this BB are from people that stayed in the main building. If you, like us, are put in the separate building across the bridge, it's a complete different matter as you are completely abandoned. We ended up having no breakfast, the room was narrow, the pavements broken, we had to climbs up three floors to get... More

My wife and I stayed over April in the 'Palazzo NIghtmare'. It all started when we checked in at the shabby little reception desk across the quaint little bridge that other reviewers have mentioned. Had we been given a room in the main building, with a view of the canal, it might not have been quite so bad. But we... More

Palazzo Rosa could not be bettered location-wise. It is incredibly well placed to get to all the major sites very easily. It is also worth noting that there is only one bridge/one set of stairs between the vaporetto stop and the hotel- very useful if laden with suitcases and children! The room we stayed in was very nice- they have... More

My boyfriend and I visited about 10 cities on our trip across Europe last summer, and this place was one of the most expensive, and by far the sketchiest. We knew Venice was typically a more expensive city vs. the other cities we visited, but we were really disappointed with our accommodations at Palazzo Rosa. The room itself looked pretty... More

We were happy to return to this lovely hotel in a great location 5 minutes walk from Rialto bridge. Very competitive prices, friendly owners and staff, great spacious room for the five of us (2 adults and 3 small children) and lovely and warm compared to the unusually freezing weather we found out and about this weekend - around -9°C!... We found Palazzo Rosa ideally located, right in the middle of everything you want to see and visit in Venice. Large room, large comfortable bed, new bathroom, large and fresh warm towels every day, friendly and helpful hosts. What more can you need? After 4 days of simple continental breakfast we were glad to change to a more versatile breakfast... More

Went with a few friends to Venice for a weekend break just to check out the city. We were travelling on a budget and came across the Palazzo Rosa. Definitely couldn't argue with the price being in such a prime location within the city. From the outside, this place looks rather rustic and daunting but only when you go inside... More

This hotel was perfect. Warm welcome by the owner, then the rooms are large and clean...and you wake up with a view over a chanel! Good breakfast. Romantic and a great value...I'm sure I will come back!

My friend found Palazzo Rosa on the internet and booked it as it had a room for 3 of us for a girly weekend in Venice! We struggled to find it a bit, the instructions given by the hotel are spot on, but the actual door to the hotel is not very obvious - it just looks like a private... More
