Great location, decent rooms. Was what we expected for a 2 star hotel. Would have been nice to have had working air con. Bed not great, fairly uncomfortable. Excellent location close to everything, good restaurant underneath.

Hotel Rio is only rated as 2 star so it is pretty basic, but for a few days does that really matter. The hotel was located in a great place and the staff was very nice, but they had the worst beds that we have ever slept on. They were great about switching our room, but the beds were not any better. Hotel was located at convenient hotel, but there's no lift/elevator. Room was clean, the lady was helpful. We stayed at family room, was supposed to have 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. The 2 single beds were merely taken out of a sort of cupboard and were soo not comfortable, mattresses were thin and caused us bad back pain... More

I was quite happy with this hotel which is well situated in Venice and very clean. The room was big. It could have been noisy because I could hear what was happening in the room next to ours. However, it did not last and so there was no problem.
