This hotel really 'made' my trip to Venice and to escape the hustle and bustle when we wanted. Staff are very good and you encounter many who make you want to go back. One of the best hotels in the world.

Come to Torcello for two things. The eleventh century cathedral with breathtaking byzantine mosaics, peaceful and inspiring and lunch at the Locanda. Understated and classic food in a lovely green cool location with expert service. Most places in venice have flies visiting your table, here bees visit the flowers in the vase on the table instead.
