Hotel de l'Alboro is a nice hotel in a very good location. The Valporetto station is 1 minutes away, which is very convenient if you arrive with luggage. The walk to San Marco takes about 10 minutes. Location is great, but the rooms are far small and outdated. Comfort is below standard. Everything is small. Everything is old. I don't understand how this hotel can be so expensive. There are so many chepaer and better hotels in this city. Therefore I would not recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The vaporetto stop is 2 seconds away (San Angelo) and San Marco square a 10 min walk, so it's really central. The room and hotel was clean and the staff warm and welcoming. We had roopm 14 which had a beautiful romantic view of a canal. Would 100% stay here again!
