I booked a room at this hotel online and was promised with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, along with a flat-screen TV. When I finally arrived at the hotel, I was instead given a horrible small room with a twin bed and a sink. No bathroom, no TV. After making some noise with the receptionist and showing my booking,... The poor atmosphere although quite ambitious maybe because of the location - anyway good, just few steps to S. Marco but through the ugly dark passing with the smells of trattoria. The staff just does nothing except browsing facebook. And in the breakfast room you'll meet a really ugly person, a home-made tyran who will never let you sit whenever... More

After reading adverse reviews of this hotel, we were a bit worried that we had booked it. However, we found it to be very suitable for our needs, being very central. Our rooms were well-appointed, and the en-suite bathrooms lovely, with jacuzzi-style baths. The beds were large and comfortable, and maid service was daily. The only down side was the... More

Great location, good value for the solo traveller. Helpful staff, easy access to P.san Marco, vaporetti, shops etc. Chose hotel on basis of cost alone from a list supplied by airline i booked with. Had read mixed reviews on Tripadvisor so went prepared with this in mind. Would stay there again and hope to do so in the future. I... More

Arrived back today after 8 nights and we wish we hadn't left. I had read the reviews and seen the pictures so I didn't expect much so when we walked in to find a jacuzzi for a bath and a glass chandelier over the bed WOW!! Loved the location half way between the Rialto and San Marco. The staff are... More

I spent three nights in this hotel. It provided all the facilities that I required: sufficiently comfortable, clean and quiet. It is not at all easy to find, but that is hardly the hotel's fault, since much of Venice (and this area in particular) is a labyrinth of narrow alleyways, and Venetian postal addresses are incomprehensible. Breakfast was nothing to... More

We had a two bed room with a shared bathroom on the hallway right across from our room. The room was really small, had two single beds, a fan, a sink and a small drawer. At night it was really hot and sticky in the room but with open window and fan on it was okay. The only problem we... More

My husband and I were travelling round Europe last month and were dreading staying here after all the reviews but I can honestly say it is NOT that bad!!! It was tricky to find though. The reception desk were very friendly and helpful when asked for advice about restaurants. We had paid that little bit extra to get one of... More

The location is superb in the heart of venice, that's it. This place is like a mosquito heaven, hot and humid. The room is extremely old and dirty, only shared-bathroom with ppl on your floor. I would not trust the lock on the room door, which is a plastic knob!! The breakfast is all package food. I took the milk... More

They say they are a hotel, but on the walls they have a certificate for a ´albergue´ (a hostel). Its hard to find the entrance and there is no elevator. The staff seemed bored and not very helpful. When we accedently removed some sheets we saw that the matrass and sheets were full of pee-stains and went to complain about... More
