Venice is expensive. I get it. But to pay nearly $300US for a room with a bathroom that is 5 feet x 5 feet with no shower pan and only a cloth curtain to keep the water from flooding the bathroom area defies comprehension. This is no exaggeration but while sitting on the toilet your legs are already in the... More

Arrived in Venice - and was pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Do Pozzi. She is not located on the canals - but it made no difference. We were centrally located - within walking distance to EVERYTHING. Hotel personnel most excellent and very helpful. Nice extended continental breakfast. I couldn't have been more pleased!

The Hotel Do Pozzi is in an excellent location 5 mins from Piazza San Marco. The staff are helpful and friendly. Being located in a small alleyway the building is small and rooms are quite small. On a city break I don't expect to spend much time indoors so not a problem. I believe the price reflected this and would... More

We arrived at the Do Pozzi for a week’s stay, and were shown to a pretty and comfortable room – we unpacked, and settled in nicely. But then there was a telephone call from Reception: they had made a mistake, and allocated us the wrong room. We had to re-pack, move further down to the corridor, and unpack again. The... More

I stayed in a single room, which was very small but unfortunately all the singles are above a really busy street, so one hears people talking; high heeled shoes and bags rolling along the pavement until about 11pm and then again from around 7am....moreover, unless one closes the door to the rooms carefully they slam and not all guests are... Tiny hotel tucked away in a rabbit warren of Venetian streets. Well-priced...just don't expect service. More of a B&B than a proper hotel. Worth pricing and if you don't mind a pretty small room, not a bad place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for luxery this isnt the place for you. On walking in to the entrance, you think wow this is really nice. Then you get to your room. very plain extremely hot! The walls looked like they could do with a paint you almost felt you were in a cell. The bathroom was a wet room totally... More

Absolutely a gem!!!! A delightful place to stay, friendly helpful staff and good breakfasts. Central to everything - shopping great, with lots of reasonably priced restaurants. Booze expensive except the little take away around the corner. Definately worth a stay and hope to go back.

We went there last year. It was my partner's second stay and my first. We found the hotel clean and friendly and the breakfast was good for the price. Loved the courtyard and the central location. The room was a bit dated but clean and a good size. A good, honest, value for money hotel in a brilliant location and... More

We stayed at the Do Pozzi Hotel during the last week in August to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We booked through Kirker Holidays and we couldn't have wished for better. The hotel was excellent-quiet, centrally located, and with its own private courtyard where we had breakfast and where later in the day we were able to chill out in peaceful... More
